Robert Rodriguez’s reboot of Predators being directed by Nimrod Antol has quite the list of actors and now has added another great actor to the list, Laurence Fishburne.   Collider reports that Laurence Fishburne will star alongside of Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Danny Trejo, Alice Braga, Derek Mears, and Waltin Goggins.  He is playing a character named Noland, and that is all we know.. for now.  FirstShowing thinks that Fishburne is making a cameo or playing a special part because of being casted later one.  I think, on the other hand, that a possible story rewrite could have occurred or a possible conflict with his CSI career that was not resolved until now. Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison and Sony Pictures are still developing a biopic called Richard Pryor:  Is it Something I Said with Dreamgirls director Bill Condon to direct.  Entertainment Weekly reports that Eddie Murphy (who was originally attached to star) dropped out over early studio conflicts and that Marlon Wayans has been brought on to replace him in the role of Richard Pryor. ComingSoon had the chance to catch up with James Woods on the set of Straw Dogs in Shreveport, Louisiana, and speak to him about his role and other upcoming projects.  Woods plays Tom Hedden, a small town southern football coach who happens to be an alcoholic, he starts causing problems for a young Hollywood couple played by James Marsden and Kate Bosworth.  Woods other projects consist of An American Girl which he happens to be very invested in.  He plans to direct the movie with Kristen Stewart (Bella from the Twilight series) in the lead role.  He purchased the script from Tim Metclafe (Haunting in Conneticut) and Sean McCarthy, then confronted Kristen Stewart about the role before she landed the role of Bella in the Twilight series.  Read more >>

Last year at Comic Con Robert Rodriguez debuted a couple artistic posters for his movie Red Sonja with Rose McGowen starring.  Now it seems that Rose McGowen might not even be starring in Red Sonja at all!  Wow what a smack in the face for her, last May her film Barbarella which was also being directed by Robert Rodriguez was shut down.  What a year.

McGowen’s career seems to be at a major halt, she has not had a major role in quite a while now.  With all the press she has taken to twitter of course stating: “Just this once i’ll address questions about Red Sonja&others;i was meant to do in ‘08. The cast of Danny Trejo’s Machete has finally been confirmed.  Many rumors have been floating around in the passed weeks of some pretty big name actors being apart of the cast and then Lindsay Lohan.  Early last week Lindsay Lohan updated the IMBD movie page by placing herself in the cast list.  This is the first straight to theater movie Lindsay has been in for two years now, she recently starred in Labor Pains which was an ABC Family original movie.

Shia LaBeouf’s name seemed to appear with ever article that was posted about the movie.
