    jurrasic-park-4

Yes!  All my hoping and praying for some sort of good news towards the long time talked about Jurassic Park IV movie there is good news!  A few months back in June Frank Mashall said that “it is a long shot” and “there is not even a plot.”  Well, now Aint it Cool News spoke with spoke with the director recently and heard otherwise. “Well, there is a great story for the fourth one that I would be interested in getting involved with and it’s nothing like the first three. It sort of takes the franchise off in a completely different direction, which is the only way I would want to get involved.” Read more >>

Geek Out! New Twilight: Eclipse Teaser Poster!

twilighteclipseBloody Disgusting has been a wee bit naughty!  They happened to get their hands on the first teaser poster for the Twilight Saga: Eclipse and snap a picture of it.  By the looks of the poster the movie seems to be much more dark and compelling and if you all have read the books then you know it fits perfectly.  IF you haven’t read the book then well he is a little synapsis:

Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Now that everyone is up to par, take a look at the first teaser poster! Read more >>

The Hobbit & Magneto Update from Sir Ian McKellen

hobbitmagnetoOur friends over at Empire we recently lucky enough to run into Sir Ian McKellen at the San Sebastian Film Festival and asked him about two big projects: The Hobbit and X-Men Origins: Magneto.  We all know good news always comes out of that guys mouth!  McKellen did not have much to say about Magneto but what he did say was this, “There’s meant to be a Magneto script floating around, but I’ve not read it, so I suspect it wouldn’t involve me.” McKellen also joked that “they can’t have someone whose face is as lined as mine any longer” since it’ll focus on a young Magneto, which is an already known fact.  On the other hand, he did have quite a bit to say about The Hobbit, his other huge project! Rumor Control: Ivan Reitman May Be Back to Direct Ghostbusters 3?

    ghostbusters

I have not made any posts so far on all the rumors/talk about Ghostbusters 3 mostly because all the talk has just been snippy like tidbits that just you know are a waste of time.  Now, however, some actual good news is here to be reported.  Blood-Disgusting have reported some interesting news on the project.. They reported that Ivan Reitman, who directed the original two Ghostbusters movies, is attached to potentially direct Ghostbusters 3. “While he’s attached, the word is that he hasn’t decided whether or not he really wants to direct, yet.”  So, he is not 100% sure, but hey at least he is thinking about it!  Which most likely means yes (I mean would you let something you have made be taken over by someone else!?).
